What materials can you cut?
Waterjet can cut almost any material from foam to stainless steel to granite. About the only thing we can't cut is tempered glass.
How thick can it cut?
We commonly cut 3 inch stainless and up to 7 inch aluminum.
How much does it cost?
The cost is determined for each part based on the type and thickness of the material, the length of cut, the quantity of parts to be cut, and the edge finish required. Any tooling or special CAD costs are added to the first run.
What is the tolerance?
The kerf of the waterjet is .020 with water only, and .030-.040 with abrasive. We typically hold plus or minus .010 up to 1/2" thick.
How fast can I get it?
Our lead time is usually 1-2 weeks.
How do I send you a file to quote?
You can fax us a dimensioned drawing, send a CAD file by email, or send us a pattern to trace. Please make sure your CAD file is full size and in DXF R14 format.
