Rapid Prototyping
This process builds a part layer by layer from a 3D CAD file. Our machine liquefies and deposits ABS plastic and a soluble support material, allowing entire assemblies to be formed in one build, as in the anchor model below.
Rapid prototyping can be used to verify part design before building expensive tooling. You can test fit assemblies and make quick, inexpensive modifications. Our ABS parts can also be used as vacuum form masters for packaging applications of positives for investment casting. We've even made drill fixtures using this process. Our build envelope is 12 x 12 x 12.
The models shown here are in "natural", but many other colors are available upon request.

In order to build your model, we will need a "watertight" 3D CAD file in STP format. Or we can create a model for you from 2D files or prints.
