We can take your crayon-on-napkin
sketches
or digitize a cardboard pattern. If you have CAD files we can take DXF,
DWG, IGS and many other
formats.
We have the ability to "nest" your parts
together very tightly
on a sheet of material in order to get the most parts out of the raw
material
and reduce your per-part cost.
We perform a number of second operations, including machining and assembly. We have a computer controlled vertical milling machine in house which we use for operations such as face milling, drilling & tapping, slotting and machining to meet our customer's design demands. One of our customers has a need for shims of varying thickness. We waterjet the perimeter shape and face mill to the final dimension.
Another customer requires shims
for an
aerospace application. We waterjet the phenolic to shape, then
machine it
to a compound angle using special vacuum fixturing.
If you need other work done to
your parts
such as tapping, reaming, countersinking, bending; whatever, ask us
about it.
If we can't do it in-house, we will get it done by another high-quality
shop so
that you can have a ready-to-use component when you get it from us.
Our 3D printer can create a
prototype of your part
to proof a concept or test-fit an assembly. For more on prototyping see
the Rapid Prototyping page.

We
will also drill and tap mounting holes in the backs of letters for high
quality signage, as in these small polished stainless steel letters for
The Gap.
We can and will make every effort
to supply
you with those difficult-to-make components you just can't seem to get
made
elsewhere. If the time frame is a concern we will do everything we can
to give
you the shortest turn around time possible.
